During a State House ceremony Tuesday, legislators honored more than 30 Massachusetts manufacturers for their commitment to creating and maintaining employment and economic opportunities in the Commonwealth.
Chris Kielb received an award on behalf of Advance Welding for our work in the western part of the state.
"It's a great honor to be here and it's nice to see that people here, out east in the Boston area recognize manufacturing," said Christopher Kielb, operator of Advance Welding.
State Senator Eric Lesser said, "In western mass, in particular, manufacturing is an essential element of our economy and it's really an engine for middle-class job growth. People can get a great job at a manufacturer in western mass, and have a really solid middle-class life without $100,000 in student loan debt."
